What should I do if my Transparent Turntable isn’t turning on?

  1. Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the turntable and the power source.
  2. Verify that the outlet is functioning by plugging in another device.
  3. Check the power button and make sure the turntable is switched on. If the problem persists, try resetting the turntable by unplugging it for 10 seconds and reconnecting it.

The sound quality is poor or distorted. How can I fix this?

  1. Check that the stylus is clean and not worn out.
  2. Ensure that the cartridge is correctly aligned using the alignment tool.
  3. Adjust the tracking force on the tonearm to match the cartridge specifications.
  4. Make sure your speakers are properly connected, and if using Bluetooth, ensure a strong connection without interference

My turntable is producing a loud hum or ground noise. What should I do?

Ground noise can often be caused by improper grounding. Follow these steps:

  1. If using a wired connection, make sure the Y-shaped ground wire from the RCA cable is connected to both the turntable and the speaker or amplifier.
  2. Check that the speakers are also properly grounded.
  3. If the issue persists, move the turntable away from other electronic devices that might be causing interference.

The tonearm isn’t lowering correctly or skips during playback. What should I check?

1. Ensure the counterweight is adjusted properly so the tonearm is balanced.

2. Make sure the anti-skating control is set to match the tracking force, typically set to 2 for most setups.

3. Clean the stylus and record to avoid dust-related skipping.

Bluetooth connection is failing or disconnects frequently. How do I fix this?

  1. Ensure the turntable and the Bluetooth speaker are within range, preferably within 5 meters.
  2. Restart the Bluetooth pairing process by holding down the Bluetooth button on both the speaker and the turntable until they reconnect.
  3. If the connection continues to fail, forget the turntable on your device’s Bluetooth settings and try pairing again.

The turntable is playing at the wrong speed. How can I correct this?

If your record is playing too fast or too slow, check the RPM speed setting:

  1. Use the speed selector knob to switch between 33 RPM and 45 RPM depending on the record size.
  2. Make sure the belt is properly placed on the drive pulley. If the belt is worn out, replace it with the spare belt provided.

How do I reset the Transparent Turntable to factory settings?

To perform a factory reset, press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds. This will reset all settings, including Bluetooth pairings and any adjustments you’ve made to the turntable. After resetting, you will need to reconnect the turntable to your speakers.

How do I fix skipping or uneven playback?

  1. Ensure that the record is clean and free of scratches.
  2. Check that the stylus is properly placed on the record and that the tonearm is balanced.
  3. Adjust the anti-skating control to prevent the tonearm from skipping towards the center of the record.

The stylus keeps lifting before the end of the record. What could be causing this?

This could be due to the anti-skating control being set too high. Adjust it to match the tracking force setting on the tonearm. Also, check that the tonearm is properly balanced and aligned with the cartridge.

How do I replace the belt if the platter isn’t spinning?

  1. Remove the platter by lifting it off the spindle.
  2. Check the condition of the belt and replace it with the spare belt if needed.
  3. Place the new belt around the drive pulley and the inner platter ring.
  4. Reassemble the platter and test the speed settings.
