To play music with a wired connection, plug in the power cable and turn on the speaker. A white light will indicate that the speaker is on. Then, connect the provided audio cable to the source of your choice. If using the long audio cable through the bottom outlet, you might hear a slight "humming" noise until both ends are fully plugged in. This is due to the isolated transformer design of the longer cable.
